Position: Sales and Marketing Strategist

SUMMARY:

Central NJ-based Recycling – Construction Equipment Distributor seeks a Sales and Marketing Professional. This person will be responsible for the development and execution of market strategy to attain and or maintain desired market position with assigned territory accounts. In addition to increasing equipment sales and profits, this position is responsible for including all possible solutions within Komplet America’s scope.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Core duties and responsibilities, among others, include the following:

• SALES
  • Responsible for effective professional selling principles in the working environment
  • Initiating cold calls, emails, and other outbound communications
  • Prospecting leads by using relevant channels
  • Qualifying leads by assessing leads based on their level of interest
  • Managing leads within the sales pipeline
  • Organizing lead data using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools
  • Tracking and maintaining metrics for lead generation
  • Setting up demonstrations of products

• MARKETING
  • Developing marketing content for various segments both web, print, and other graphic formats
  • Facilitating strategies on how best to market to customer base
  • Managing various types of marketing content and campaigns
  • Monitor social media accounts and help grow following
  • Coordinating and participating in conferences and events
  • Staying informed about market trends and competitor activities
  • Researching marketing opportunities and collaborations

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES:

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, sales, business or a related field
• Minimum of three years of proven professional sales experience
• Basic knowledge and abilities of Microsoft Office products prior knowledge and use of CRM a plus
• Must have excellent communication and customer service skills that are crucial for contacting prospects via cold calls, emails, and other communication channels
• Must be very comfortable on the phon
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload and projects
• Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with a constant commitment to teamwork
• Goal-Oriented
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong research skills
• Working knowledge of heavy equipment preferred
