The Komplet Kompatto 5030 is a compact, self-propelled mobile screener designed for high-volume screening with maximum versatility. Ideal for job sites, small quarries, demolition projects, and waste applications, the Kompatto 5030 combines optimal size and weight with powerful screening performance.
Its heavy-duty sloping double-deck screen box supports a wide range of screening media, including steel mesh, punch plates, and reinforced bars, allowing operators to screen sand, gravel, aggregates, C&D material, landfill waste, and topsoil. The 3-way split configuration delivers precise material separation, while its ability to function as a standalone screener or a pre-screen for crushing operations adds flexibility. Built for demanding daily workloads, the Kompatto 5030 offers excellent maneuverability, transportability, and consistent results—making it a reliable sorting solution for high-output screening applications.

The Kompatto 5030 — Komplet America’s best-selling screener — is rated at up to 280 US tons per hour. Powered by a 45 hp Tier 4 Final diesel engine with a dual-deck screening box configuration (8’ × 3’ 2” upper deck and 7’ × 3’ 2” lower deck) and weighing approximately 26,455 pounds, the 5030 is designed for high-volume scalping and classification on serious production sites. It fills the gap between the compact Kompatto 221 and the full-scale Kompatto 124, delivering production capacity that handles the majority of contractor and recycling yard applications. This double-deck screen has three extraction belts creating three different end-product material sizes. If needed this compact screener can also be set up with a 2-way split to produce two end-products.
The “up to” production rating refers to the maximum potential output a machine can achieve under ideal conditions—this includes consistent feed material (size, hardness, and moisture), skilled operator use, proper setup, and minimal downtime. Every job site is different, which is why we emphasize that this is not a guaranteed or average output, but a best-case scenario metric. If you’re unsure what output to expect for your application, we’re always happy to review your material and help you model realistic results.
The up to 280 tph rating applies to free-flowing, dry, well-graded material fed at a consistent rate. In practice, material type and moisture content are the biggest variables. Clean topsoil, processed aggregate, and dry crushed concrete will approach the rated figure more closely than wet, clay-laden, or high-fines material, which can blind the screen decks and require more frequent cleaning cycles to maintain effective separation. Feed consistency also matters — a loader or crusher feeding steadily into the hopper keeps the screen working efficiently throughout the shift.
For most heavy-duty scalping applications — stripping topsoil from C&D fill, classifying crusher output, or separating aggregate fractions — actual throughput will vary based on material type, moisture content, fines percentage, and feed consistency. Operations should evaluate the Kompatto 5030 on their specific material during a demonstration rather than planning a production schedule around the rated ceiling figure alone.
The Kompatto 5030 uses interchangeable screen panels on both decks, so the minimum separation size depends on the mesh or punch-plate installed for the specific job. Its larger dual-deck surface area — compared to the Kompatto 221 — provides more screening area per pass, which improves efficiency and accuracy at finer separations. For confirmed panel sizing options and the finest reliable separation for your material, contact Komplet America at 908-369-3340 or your authorized Komplet dealer.
The Kompatto 5030 is a scalping and classifying screener, not a crusher, so it is designed to receive pre-sized or loosely broken material rather than raw boulder-size feed. The maximum recommended feed size for the hopper is determined by the width of the upper screen deck and the hopper opening — oversized pieces that bridge across the deck or block the hopper will interrupt material flow and reduce throughput. For confirmed maximum lump size for your specific material and application, contact Komplet America at 908-369-3340.
On material type, the Kompatto 5030 handles topsoil, sand and gravel, crushed concrete and asphalt fines, mixed C&D rubble, mulch, compost, quarry stone, and excavation spoil. Its higher throughput rating makes it a strong pairing for the K-JC 704 PLUS or K-JC 805 jaw crusher in a mobile crush-and-screen circuit, where the screener needs to keep pace with significant crusher output without becoming the bottleneck in the production chain.
